Trading is part of my journey. This is how I approach it, what I do to stay disciplined, and where I will post milestones as they happen.
Five stages. Most people skip the first four and wonder why the fifth is hard.

Learn the foundations
Markets, orders, candlesticks and the vocabulary. Nothing clever yet: just being able to describe what you are looking at without guessing.

Write the plan down
Context, setup, trigger, risk and review as unambiguous rules. If a rule cannot be written down, it cannot be tested.
- 03
Practise small and safe
Demo accounts and tiny size first. The goal is to follow the plan, not to make money, and to find out whether you can.
- 04
Review everything
A journal that records how well you followed the plan and how you felt, not just the outcome. Improvement comes from the review.
- 05
Keep it in proportion
Trading is part of life, not the whole of it. Loss limits and time limits protect capital and the people you are doing this for.
